JR STAR Development
If a skater has passed CanSkate Stage 4 and shows an interest in Figure skating they will be invited into this program. The skater will continue to work on finishing the CanSkate stages with a professional coach for most but not all of the time. They will also be given time to work on their own on the required skills as they get ready to enter StarSkate.
PreCanSkate
This program is designed for young children who are new to the ice and need the basic skills to enter CanSkate. Skaters learn to move forward, backwards, get up unassisted, jump, turn, and stop. We have program assistants to help the coaches out with these young skaters.
